Diaper Cake- Making it!

A few steps for making a cute Diaper Cake for a Shower Party Centerpiece or as your Personal Gift to the Mother to be! It’s gonna be fun and filled with love! All it takes is your patience and some imagination! Next thing you know, you are done making one! And would love to make more! Always a rewarding feeling at the end of the day!

1. Gather your materials so it’s easier to imagine what you will create. You can buy the simplest materials to use (even from a Dollar store or Divisoria) or mix it or enjoy using just the branded materials! Your call!

For this one, I used 100 pieces size 2 diapers (but size 1 is the most common one); then blue ribbons (color depending on the Baby Shower Motif); Then I added some baby stuff like clothes, bibs, duckies, throw blanket, toys & etc.

2. Start with your base. Either use a round hard board or a baking sheet (Which I got from a Dollar Tree Store). Then cover it with foil or a baby shower gift wrap. You may roll the diapers and put rubber band around it for easy placing. Or using your ribbon as a guide, place the diapers sideways until it gets tighter. And becomes your first strong layer.

3. Then I used the rolled blanket as the middle pole. My first layer was 42 diapers, second layer was 32 diapers, third layer was 22 diapers, and 4 diapers on the top part.

4. I started putting the rest of the baby stuff all around it, and added some more ribbons. And a card to top it all!
