Flowers for you
And because it’s a “Valentine” month, I’m sharing a sweet simple surprise in my day prior to Valentine! Can you guess what my wonderful husband gave me instead of bouquet of flowers or a box of chocolates for Valentine? Now a days, more people are getting smarter and more practical in so many ways. And once you are married, the more you would be.
Every now and then, it’s cute and it’s sweet when your spouse gives you flowers or chocolates. And there is nothing wrong with that. I personally would appreciate it. My husband before will always surprise me with a bouquet of flowers or sometimes just 3 pieces of roses… the smile on my face will never go away overnight. But now that we’ve been married, he knows my interest, he knows me better! To what I would appreciate more. He gave me a bunch of different plants & orchids for my Patio gardening!
The thoughts was so sweet! The idea is brilliant! So I guess, if you are planning or planned already of giving something to your wife… think again. Learn more about your wife’s interests, likes and hobbies. It’s not always flowers or material things, or the fancy dinner out moments. Sometimes, your 100% one hour just being with her can make a big difference and can really look so romantic! Spending time together either on a cup of coffee, a glass of wine, or over dessert, just looking at the sky, enjoying the breeze by the beach, playing table tennis, or just lying down in your own bed and holding hands, gives a good kick for a romantic valentine day together. It doesn’t need to be expensive to show your spouse that they are special. Making your spouse feel that you know them deeply and spending some quality time with them, makes the big difference to make everyday a “Valentine” day!
1 Corinthians 13:4-7 Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
I hope you feel the “love” every day of your life.
